At Dahl Companion Care, we strive to provide high-quality, reliable, and compassionate companionship services for seniors. This Refund Policy explains when refunds may be available and how they are processed.

1. Payment and Service Fees
All fees for services are communicated in advance. Payment is due according to the agreed schedule before or at the time services are provided unless otherwise stated in writing.

2. Cancellations
Clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations.

- Cancellations with at least 24 hours’ notice: No charge, full refund if pre-paid.
- Cancellations less than 24 hours in advance: 50% of the service fee may be charged (as per our Terms & Conditions).

3. Refunds Due to Service Issues
If you are unsatisfied with a service due to reasons within our control (e.g., a missed visit by a caregiver), we will:

- Review the issue promptly
- Offer a partial or full refund, or a credit toward future services, at our discretion

Refunds will not be issued for situations outside our control, including but not limited to:

- Weather-related cancellations
- Client or family schedule changes
- Health emergencies or hospitalizations

4. How to Request a Refund

- Name and contact information
- Service date and description
- Reason for the refund request

We will respond within 5 business days.

5. Processing Refunds
Refunds will be issued using the same payment method originally used. Refunds may take 5–10 business days to process depending on your bank or payment provider.

6. Modifications to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
